I missed the convention this year with a family medical emergency. How was it? Personal highlights?

The attendees and the better presenters are what make the convention worthwhile.
I enjoyed meeting Dr. Brackelman, the psychiatrist from the new group that merged with NGH,
I always enjoy the big guns,Tom Nicoli, Ron Eslinger,Larry Garrett,Calvin Banyan and the Clergy Special Interest Group ( Scot Giles,Lee Pellitier, Tim Jones,Dan Spruell, etc.)
Mitch Nielsen and Jennifer Norris Nielsen (Spouses, but separate talks) both did fine presentations as new presenters! It is good to have them back in North America, they both lived and met in Singapore!
Unfortunately, the awards banquet is still in the "Barn" and the awards were not heard by the few interested in them.
I had the pleasure of making three presentations. My peers were very kind in their remarks in the hall after my talks. You know how you are doing by the questions and comments later in the conference.
I presented on Your Clients want the WOW,the Magic The Hypnotic Phenomena in YOUR Practice,
one on How to make Your Post hypnotic Suggestions Stick
and a new one I co-taught with Rev. Dan Spruell, a hospital chaplain,
Unleashing the Power of the Psychology of Forgiveness with Hypnotism I met several deeply spiritual folks as well as a methodist minister that is also a clinical psychologist in my class (The Rev.Dr.Wilfredo Baez). This class was the best part of my convention.
The conference attendance was good, supposedly up from last year.
The Stage Shows were uneven in ability, but I still stole some good ideas, which I have already used yesterday in a college show at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
My SUGGESTION for NGH Convention.
THE BANQUET SHOULD BE REPLACED BY SOMETHING MEANINGFUL, NO ONE CAN HEAR THE AWARDS OR UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WERE GIVEN !
Hope to see you next year,
Rev.William Mitchell PS Our Peers Make The Convention Great!
What was the show idea you liked?
