Good morning all, My thoughts are as follows, open eye trance is the most common form of trance as you are in a trance state when driving, getting dressed, eating, anything that you do automatically, tying your shoes, etc. NLP is another and faster way of bypassing the conscious filter. That is the part of us that most often holds us back grasping onto old beliefs. When asked to describe NLP I say the following: creating experience, or modeling excellence,. Tony Robbins said it perfectly when he said "getting people into trance is not difficult, it's getting them out that's difficult". I've found that speed is most effective when working with NLP as it is another way of slipping past the filter. Hope this helps.

Alfred,
There's lots of things you could apply to help you with this.
Are you familiar with the Betty Erickson self hypnosis techique? Basically you cycle through different modalities as an induction technique and give yourself a suggestion to have your subconscious do whatever it was you were wanting to do. Milton Erickson would place his driver under trance whenever he would go on trips. Wide awake trances can be effective for learning!
