I propose this question in the interest of discussion and learning for all...

Do you use submodalities as an intervention or therapy technique, or perhaps as an augment to other techniques, or do you just frind them interesting.

All of the above! To me, submodalities are the very stuff of the structure of thought. I find it fascinating to study my own, and often amazingly effective to use in interventions / therapy. They form a part of nearly everything I do. Of course, others' mileage may vary. :)
By the time you've elicited a client's submodalities, they are already in a light trance and change is possible. I think there are incredible possibilities to still be discovered through submodality interventions.

I find Steve Andreas's work with submodalities incredibly profound, precise, and practical (note: I work for Steve, but am not paid to say this!).
