I started a discussion on the main forum and feel it should be here instead, so have started another! Id like to keep a sort of diary about each session.

My first regression session was about 3 weeks ago and was truly a life changing experience for me. I found I was a pilot in a past life and then had the most magical spiritual experience. This has given both a faith in knowing what will happen to me when I die and also a new belief in past lives and different energies.

My second session was today. My reason for being regressed in the first place was my feeling that I had been on the Titanic...this has been something that has been with me for many many years. I have always had a connection with the sea. I told my hypnotist before our session today....and he said we may explore this on our session today...well we did and I found out that yes I was on that ship, however I didnt die there, I survived. I was able to recall my name etc....I then went on to get married a few years later. At the end of the session I felt the most amazing energy surge....completely taking hold of my whole body.

After my second session im left feeling that I have a fantastic connection/relationship with my hypnotist. I feel we will do lots more work together and that he will be my pillar of strength as I walk the path to becoming a hypnotist myself.

The question I seem to be asking myself today is....is it normal practice for your clients to become obsessed the way I have?? Are there any hypnotists on here who have similar clients??

Hello Sonia,

Your story here is another example of how, when a person experiences some type of "breakthrough" via hypnosis, there is no returning to the previous mindset! It's as if a veil lifts and reveals potential previously unimagined. Congratulations!

I had a spontaneous past life regression, which lasted only a few moments but nevertheless explained a struggle I have had in my current life, during a sacral cranial treatment. It's interesting that these experiences can occur without conscious or formal hypnotic bidding.

Welcome to our wonderful world!

Hi
the past life books Far memory as she calls them by Joan Grant are excellent, as apart from her interesting bio,
they are full novel length stories originally published as novels due to 'acceptance' issues including with her first husband. She found, worked with and then married a regression hypnotist and her recalls really help take one back to those times especially if you were there. They were recommended to me by someone with a lot of experience in this area.
Thanks Kelley, I think you are totally right in that once experienced there is no going back, im feeling ive entered through a new door and whats there for me now is sooo inviting and giving me a lot of personal satisfaction too. Im liking this new world :-)

Thanks Teri, will take a look at those books :-)
