Of course the question is, "what is tangible relief"?
I've enjoyed a great deal of success when I help the client get tangible relief first, then utilize regression. That tangible relief comes in the form of releasing negative feelings that are stored or trapped in the client's body, often to the client's surprise. I'll start with current issues and feelings and help the client release some nervous energy which is associated to a thought... "Feeling sick at the thought of ____"
Once the nervous energy is allowed to leave the body the thought no longer makes the client feel sick. So we've released the hypnotic anchor that was in place, and compound this success, and move on to the next current issue.
After a few, 2 -4 releases as described above, often the client will spontaneously regress into something that needs to be healed, --- after the body and subconscious mind realizes that the work we are doing is providing relief, peace, and strength (strength in that feeling more strength as they stop fighting the feeling and let it go, giving them strength, and CONTROL back).
I utilize to main tools to get releases and tangible relief, 1. a pillow for movement of the arm and body to get things unstuck and moving; 2. Some rubbing and tapping with basic EFT techniques, but at a much deeper level than EFT usually is done at.
Okay, got to get going for today, let's see what you feel about this post :-)
