I like the sound of that, Kelly! I will implement this, for myself :)

Trance, Trance, Trance! After dinner I was cleaning up the kitchen. I found myself with a spoonful of Spanish rice in my hand--heading for my mouth! I stopped the motion feeling really good. Then I realized that it was the second spoonful that was on it's way to my mouth. Well it could have been the 3rd or 4th when I caught it.

I'm working on good trances to stop the bad trances or at least catch them. Mindfulness is the key for me.

Off for a walk in the rain! Just 20 minutes today. It's a lot like Western Washington here right now. Except hot to boot.

Y'all stay well!

I've added the mental imagery/feeling to physical activities of moving away from negative mindsets about oneself and moving toward the wonderful aspects of good health, fitness and joy. It's working, for myself, and for my clients! A great way to change downer self-talk and burn calories at the same time...

Hi Walt

Congratulations on your one hour walks! Congratulations that on doing half hour walks!!! You are still walking and that is the main thing, But also what Im hearing is a variety of exercise helps which includes, weights, stretching and mild aerobics within the one hour.

The plan Ive found is just to keep going: despite the plateaus, despite the new food allergies, the fatigue, the scale going up some days and down others etc. Just do your best one day at a time.

And support, people who know the joy of taking off a pound and how you feel if someone who knows you are dieting gives you a big box of chocolates!!!!

cheering you on

Linda

I found that I could do one hour walks for several days in a row. Then deep fatigue set in. Now I'm back to half hour walks per day.

Getting all of the ducks in a row seems like a tough thing for me. What is the plan is the question.

I like Roger Moore's Power Minutes to keep on course throughout the day...what a great tool!

I'm off for my one hour walk in a few minutes. I'm going for the time not the speed. I'm building a strong heart.

They're talking some snow for us tomorrow!

Spring is arriving here in Wash. State (I mowed my field yesterday!) and with it, new opportunity to move the body. How are you taking advantage of the outdoors to get healthier?

Education is a good thing Walt. You can easily learn to help your body remember to release the weight it no longer thinks you need. It feels good to look forward to the time when you can look back over all of the new learnings that helped you release the weight so easily that you almost forgot to notice how much easier it was becoming for you now. you are doing great.

Met my two week goal of 4 pounds. Feels good. I'm continuing my education. Reading "Good Carbs, Bad Carbs" and the "Leptin Diet". I'm following the 5 rules of the Leptin Diet.
