i think it would require a great deal of courage and trust to willingly give up all power to another,maybe being submissive is a form of laziness

I subscribed to one of Brian David Phillips newsletters when I started looking to add Stage Hypnosis to my skill set. Later I started getting info on his erotic trace classes. Still later I found Hypno Thoughts, I signed up for this group because the idea of walking a loved one through some new and exciting experiences sounded like fun. 

Allot of the topics here are themed on this thing of control, dominant and submissive. As a hypnotist on stage and off I provide direction as part of the service. That's the way it works. It's about what is communicated to the subconscious and gives the desired effect. Otherwise I have no real interest in dominating anyone or being submissive to anyone. 

 

Is there a subset of this branch of hypnosis where the control thing is down played?

maybe I'm a little old fashioned farm boy who was raised a bit differently but when I meet people of either gender that is showing signs of dysfunction then I generally run a few lines on them to get over it. Hell the problem I've always had is finding a woman strong enough to be my woman yet woman enough that I can be her man. Now I can tell you how it was with my former wife. We used to massage and brush each other almost every night, taking turns, one night my turn the next hers. Which you might say was a form of foreplay for us because it most generally led to a very good night’s sleep for us both.
But then she was a special woman and in fact she could make her magic more than 20 times because I may have programmed her towards that goal, but she was a good student and enjoyed sex. The night we met at the bar as she was with a friend of mine but I was more interested in her which pissed the friend off but that first night was when I named her "my marathon woman" because she was the first to be able to keep up with me stride for stride all night long, on and off for about 6 hours as we'd lay there talking and smooching and then wham bam baby wants it again.
We promised to find each other in the next life but I'm not finished with this one yet and I have a whole lotta loving to do until that time. But foot rubs were always something we'd do for each other and of course I love to cook and she didn't and I cleaned the house more than she did but that was my upbringing being to be a nurturer and I enjoyed our time together. Of course now I have another girl to take care of but then it’s always mutual, I may do some of the chores assigned to the woman’s role but I am totally confident in my own masculinity so as not to trip on it, but then the women always do their share of other things so it’s all give and take with both sides being equal and not one feeling superior.
I think this is the secret to having a good sexual life as well, when you are both givers and takers equally.
