You will get lots of extra help and great articles on kids on the Hypnothoughts group kidsworks.
Apart from that with a 7 year old find out what movies, stories she likes best and weave your hypnosis into them. For example I had a boy who liked soccer and played a game on his ipad. I asked him for his favourite scene in the game and for his hypnosis talked about the scene with him in it pretending to be his favourite player achieving his (the clients) goals. Another child's favourite thing to do was to play golf with his father. Hypnosis pictured him golfing and achieving other goals.
You might get other ideas from http://www.starchildren.info/crystal.html.
Good luck

Permalink Reply by Joanne Wallis on August 9, 2011 at 8:15am How about having her construct a protective bubble around her being. All negativity just rolls off the bubble. Build her confidence and show her that it is counterproductive to take everything personally. Also show her that most people will try to cut you down to boost their own sagging confidence. I thing in young children this is done on an unconscious level. show her that she has a lot to feel confident about and not to give others power over how she feels and reacts to life.

Permalink Reply by Joanne Wallis on August 9, 2011 at 8:19am I am sure you have pumped her full of empowering affirmations, and images of herself in control of every circumstance......In addition I also would recommend that she get acquainted with her " Inner Hero", that powerful force inside of herself who goes before her to make the crooked path straight., Anytime she needs courage, wisdom and strength she is to rub her thumb and forefinger together which will instantly summon everything she needs to handle any challenge....
Permalink Reply by Karen Collins on October 12, 2011 at 5:45am It might be worth her having a go at role play... acting and feeling like what she thinks would be how a confident person feels.. perhpas getting her to stand out onf how she is feeling sort of like looking at herself when she is shy and nrervous. then looking at how someone who she sees as being confident would look. noting the differences SHE sees. I like to use a visualisation idea of a small see of confidence growing into a big Oak Tree... solid and stady once it has it's roots in the earth but a bit shakey on the way to getting there and all grown.Kids have amazing imaginations and so can see things so uch differently from Adults(adults like proof... kids love to just use theri imaginations and let it run riot (in a good way LOL)
