Hi, I suggest you go to hypno-beginning.com. A French-Canadian doctor and hypnotherapist has put together a wonderful program for clinical hypnotherapists. You can purchase the four CDs and workbook from her and you can become certified as a hypno-beginning instructor when you take the test. Then you teach the Mothers-to-be and their partners how to go into a deep state of hypnosis instantly each time a contraction comes on.
Hello, I just finished up a DVD course on painless child birth with Gerald Kein it was awesome and the cost was about a third of the price of hypnobirthing. it was $185.00 it give the info to give a 5 session program. you can read more at http://www.omnihypnosis.com/childbirth.shtm hope this helps, Good luck
John
I would also recommend Gerry's course. He's the first name on most of my respected peers when it comes to pain work and the 4-DVD set is well worth the money.
cheers folks i will look at both options.

many thanks
stephen.
I'm a HypnoBirthing practitioner and the hypno scripts given to us as part of training are not all that hard to duplicate. One is a pain control valvue script using a shoulder touch to assist in anchoring a deep state of relaxation allowing the mother instantly go to her control panel. Another script is Birth Rehearsal which can be obtained very cheaply by purchasing the HypnoBirthing book (the CD should be in back) at your local bookstore. Also, HypnoBabies program offers many CD's for sale online that can be used.

I'd focus on working with releasing any fears or preconceptions about the birth experience and recreating a custom experience based on mother's desires. Best of luck to you!
