Hi all,

It's been a while since I've posted on hypnothoughts and, in an effort to put my own personal skills to good use, I wrote (and recorded) a script for myself to improve confidence and focus.

 

Please excuse the typos and I hope you enjoy (all feedback, corrections, suggestions, etc are welcome).

Focus and Confidence

(Assumes client has already been through induction)

You focus like a laser on the tasks that are important to you.
You know your long-term goals and work diligently each and every day to achieve them.
You easily accomplish your goals and your focus and attention to detail are incredible. You find you effortlessly are able to focus on your tasks and find yourself confident in your efforts.
Challenging  tasks are an enjoyable challenge to you. You look forward to seeing the amazing results you accomplish and know that you are an exceptional thinker.
Your hard work and excellent results only add to you well-deserved self confidence. You know that you can be humble and still confident in your well-earned abilities and capabilities.
Your confidence inspires others and you enjoy applying your efforts to challenging tasks.

(Repeat the above as desired - I use 3x for my own self-use)


Your ability to relax and focus means that even challenging and complex tasks come easy to you.

You are able to allow your subconscious to respond and supplement your efforts.

Allowing your conscious mind to untangle new information while your subconscious effortlessly handles tasks that you are already accomplished at. Because of this you learn quickly and easily.

You learn without effort and have the ability to focus and absorb information easily.

Your wonderful, powerful mind sorts, comprehends and creates new insights based on the information that you hear, see, read and experience on a daily basis. Because of this, you seem to comprehend difficult concepts easily and you learn at a rapid pace. You don't even have to focus and apply because your vast and powerful mind is constantly learning and synthesizing information for you in the background.

(Again - repeat as you wish)


In just a moment, I will count from 1 up to 5 as I do all of the suggestions you've heard that are useful or positive to you will become even more firmly ingrained into your subconscious.

You won't need to consciously remember or dwell up the suggestions or anything I've said to you because your subconscious will remember and work in the background to make these suggestions more and more an integral part of how you think and who you are.

You may not consciously notice a different at first or, you may notice a sense of greater confidence and focus immediately. Either way, these positive and productive suggestions will be taken deeper and deeper into your subconscious and will become just a part of who you are and how you think.

A month from now, an day from now, or an hour from now, you will notice a change in your behavior and recognize that positive change is a result of these suggestions for focus and confidence and, when you do, you will begin to notice more and more positive changes that you just never noticed before and you will recognize that you have indeed changed and achieved a greater level of focus and confidence that helps you achieve great success in all your efforts.

This realization will ingrain your new behaviors even more deeply into your subconscious.

This is my first pass at this particular script and I'm sure there are numerous typos and mistakes but I'm fairly happy with this initial draft. I look forward to any feedback (and would be happy to upload my recording at some point if anyone is interested - includes my short induction and outro that I used for myself).

script for someone seeking wealth and prosperity

Life Is Rich

For a moment, I would like you to consider the question: What is wealth?
You may believe, as many people do, that wealth is having the ability to acquire the things you desire, but what drives us to desire things?

Some people wish to increase their social status in the eyes of others, while other people may wish to simply improve their standard of living, their quality of life.  So, the real question is, how do we know when we have achieved wealth or that we have enough to be wealthy?

And when we consider these things, we may discover- as many people do- that a person can only know that they have achieved wealth by how they feel. And the good news about knowing that a person can know they’ve achieved wealth by how they feel is that human beings are very creative beings and we know that our thoughts and beliefs create and influence how we feel. The good news about this is that if we wish to change how we feel, all we really need to do is to change the way that we think, to shift what we believe to feel wealthier than we did just a moment before. And we know that feeling wealthy attracts more opportunities for wealth. So, how do we shift our thoughts and beliefs to allow us to feel we have achieved wealth? We can do this easily by thinking in terms of what we value most in life.

Can you imagine a friend or family member that is a part of your life that is extraordinarily valuable to you? When you have this person in your mind, nod your head to let me know.

(Wait for nod)

Good. And who is this person you are thinking of?

(Wait for name or relationship descriptor)

Good. And _ (insert name) __ makes you feel good when you are with them because they bring value to your life, correct?

(Wait for confirmation)

Good.

And we know that health is something that people value immensely. Health allows us to participate in life to the fullest. Would you say you regard your health as something you have that is of great value to you?

(Wait for confirmation)

Good. Health is important because without some measure of good health, we may not enjoy life in the same way that we enjoy life when we have health, which you have.

And we also know that knowledge gained through life experience is something that we acquire more and more of as we move through life. And you have gained much knowledge from experience, knowledge that is very valuable to you, correct?

(Wait for confirmation)

That’s right. Knowledge becomes wisdom that we carry with us into new experiences and allows us to make better decisions. And when we make better decisions we feel good instantly. So knowledge is of great value and increases the quality of life tremendously. Are you aware that you have gained a body of knowledge through your many life experiences?

(Wait for confirmation)

Good.

And, another thing that brings us value to our life is having something we are passionate about. Can you call to mind something that you are passionate about – something you enjoy doing that brings valuable meaning to your life when you are doing it? And when you have that something in mind, let me know what that is.
(Wait for response)

Excellent! So when you take an inventory of the things in your life that our valuable to you:
(friend/family member name), your health, the knowledge you have gained, and (insert passion) you may find that in terms of value, you are very wealthy in these areas. And since we know that we are wealthy by how we feel, you may find that you feel far wealthier than you might have first thought. And because wealth is not really about acquiring things, but rather, is about the feeling we get when we have things or people in our life that we value and you may find, just as we have now, that when you take an inventory of what we truly value, perhaps what we most value in life, that you are far wealthier than perhaps you initially thought.

Life itself is very rich with valuable experiences and relationships and you are open to all life has to offer by way of wealth- that feeling of having value in your life is all wealth is anyway. And you can feel it in your body, that sense of wealth- of being in touch with the things in your life that you value most. And when you get a good sense of that feeling in your body you can magnify it, turn up the volume on that feeling all the way up and it feels so good. Multiply it, magnify it, turn it up and up. Feel this in your body and allow yourself to memorize that feeling.

Maintaining a sense of gratitude about the people or things in our life that give our life value is important. Taking an inventory of the things in your life that are valuable to you will bring back this same feeling of wealth any time you need, and this helps you to optimize your subconscious mind to bring attention to any and all opportunities that are in alignment with the things you value most, ensuring more wealth is coming your way. You are confident that life is rich and you are open to receive all life has to offer you. You are confident that more and more wealth, more and more of the things you value most in life are both with you and on their way to you.

The below is a paragraph from a script I rewrote from Chris's stop snoring and played with to make a script for learning for my students. You may find it a simple thing to take one script and alter it to the point as to fit any situation for whatever purpose suits you. All it takes is some imagination and creativity. I am attempting to send this via file add on here, I did rewrite to stop snoring as well for myself and also one for my girl so it won't bother her as well. I made recordings and listen to them for a couple of weeks every night and we are having tranquil sleeps now so thanks Chris, You are a very talented lady.

"Now I invite you to take a deep breath in through your nose, and then push it back out through your mouth again with your mind expanding, in the same way you certainly do when you're going to enjoy the best restful and relaxing time, and really readily falling deeply into trance, as you may, now be feeling, so compliantly suggestible, while you can, certainly allow, when encouraging yourself, relaxing and drifting deeper down, into being compliantly, peacefully, dreamily tranced, within this state of well being, as your unconscious now, feeling as if you’re completely, permissibly cooperatively, resting and relaxing as though you really are dreamy, for you may, go deeper, into trance now,"

Relaxation Script

Sitting now, in a favorite chair, or gently reclining, feel free to adjust your body so that your comfort will allow you to release any stored up tension.

As you find yourself in stillness, give attention to your next three slow, refreshing breaths.

You may find my words fading from the foreground to the background of your mind as you notice the sensations of each breath, and you may enjoy a sensation of expansion as your ribs rise up, and open up. So simple.....so soothing. Observe sensations in your body as you slowly continue to breathe. And with every comfortable breath,allow a tempo and a fullness of breathing that's just right for you.

Perhaps you feel empowerment and relaxation simultaneously, now; as those first calming breaths activate a self-soothing response

in your parasympathetic nervous system. It feels so good to be safe and secure.

And as you continue breathing normally, allow your comforting feelings to support you. Take a moment now, to scan your body and notice an area of tension. And as you focus on that stored energy, breathe a comforting, affirming thought right in there. Perhaps a feeling of gratitude or love will dissolve it. Compassion is always a soothing possibility. Soon you will notice a change. Perhaps it will feel like a cool mountain stream flowing around an island of sand. Moving.....resolving....dissolving.....slowly at first, then, as more grains of tension drift slowly away, uncovering relief and releasing, releasing.

And on the following breath, feel comfort descending, and a mellow calming.

With any discomfort just floating away, let go of your cares, for now. Your thought has been sent, to a wonderful place. And the breath and the heart , now, just drifting along.....

Dissolving brings comfort at just the right time. As it moves through the body so smoothly. And soon you may find you've arrived at a place where comfort and resting is perfectly fine.

As you continue breathing gently, simply allow those comforting feelings to support you. Take a moment now, to scan your body and find any areas of stillness or happiness.

As the breath keeps on breathing all on its own, it's so nice to discover how feelings can grow, in a place and a way that is pleasing. Calm sensations may appear as a shimmering light, or a soft cloud, or in any other way that is desirable to your subconscious mind. Follow these flowing feelings, and notice how they move and carry their peaceful qualities to other parts of your body. In settling down into a deeper experience, now, completely enjoy the movement of this wondrous energy. A process can proceed slowly or quickly. I wouldn't want complete comfort to arrive too quickly, though, since savoring and anticipating bring such pleasure.

Now, simply notice yourself standing at the top of a set of stairs. There are ten steps. They may be indoors or out, and you're discovering something wonderful about them as you visualize or feel them right now..

Standing at the top, looking down,

Notice their qualities; are they made of wood, or stone, or some other materials? Is there a handrail? Are they fancy, or plain?

Allow yourself to step down now, from ten to nine. And as you walk down each step, you can allow yourself to go even deeper into trance. Down to eight now, feeling good, feeling right, down, down, to seven.

Noticing the comfort....so inviting. Opening up your senses. Allowing sights and sounds to remain with you. Maybe a scent is on the breeze? Or a certain feeling in your hands or on your skin? Stepping down now from seven to six. Even deeper. Noticing increased comfort in the breath. And as six leads down to five, notice now, a door at the bottom of the steps. Wondering what's beyond it. And maybe you feel a certain sensation on the bottom of your foot when you step on down, now, down to four. With four more steps then a door, wondering and musing about that door. Each step can double in comfort now. Down, down to three. A wonderful place awaits your visit. Perhaps a place you haven't been to for a long, long time. Twice as peaceful now as before, and down, stepping down now to two. Soon you may enter a place and a time that brings a wonderful sense of completion, safety, love and harmony. You may meet someone else or enjoy your solitude. One more step down, now, moving forward, descending to step number one. Far deeper than before. And allowing soothing comfort is an excellent choice, for there's nothing to do and nowhere to go, right now. Later on, you may have tasks to complete, but for now you can let it all go. Simply enjoying this moment is enough. Letting go is enough. Feeling ready to enter an extraordinary place, now, open the door, and step forward into another experience. Noticing where you are, allowing pleasure and comfort to deepen. Moving into the most agreeable and memorable aspect of your experience. When permitting and doing, what you like to do, limitations simply vanish. Allowing any pleasurable memories, words and events to occur in the very best way, so satisfying, and allowing for a wonderful sense of completion. Now, I will remain silent for a minute, so that you can send a feeling of acceptance and well-being to yourself and during this time, a delightful minute can open like a flower, expanding like an hour.

(One minute silence)

And, now an opportunity to anchor this peaceful feeling in your body arises.

By creating an okay sign with either hand you may anchor this peaceful or harmonious or exciting feeling in your body. And when using this sign, you may allow this emotion to return to you whenever you choose.

Knowing such wonderful comfort is available to you at any time you take the time to honor your body and mind with a gift of your own best intentions, allow yourself the benefit of another moment or two before returning to the ordinary world, to give yourself as many affirmations of love and contentment as you like.

And when you are ready and the suggestions of well-being have been completely received by the subconscious mind, you may begin counting yourself back up to full awareness. And when you count from one to five, knowing that with each number, your conscious mind is becoming more and more alert, and a wonderful energy is returning to your body, you will become more and more alert. You will feel great! And when you reach the number five you will be completely refreshed, filled with energy, and ready to continue your day!
