I'm looking for scripts for Driving test nerves. Has anybody got one they could share please.

Permalink Reply by Cory O on September 29, 2011 at 8:09am I don't necessarily have a script for this, but I can tell you what I've done in similar circumstances. I live in a college town, and I've had a couple of college students come to me for test anxiety.
I tend to favor direct suggestion, but that's just me. So I'll take individual parts of the experience and change the response to the stimulus.
For example, in the test anxiety case, I might to through the individual aspects and just tell the subC that the response should be to be calm and focused. So, some of the things I frame in that are sitting in the desk, the sounds of the classroom, the test papers themselves, the act of picking up the pen and putting it to paper, etc. And then I'll give a couple of suggestions about being easily able to recall the information they need when they need it - as though it's always been a natural part of them.
I've had excellent results using this approach with the couple of college students I've worked with.
