Just want to say thanks to those who have entered new scripts on the site. Leshem Yosef has left something for those who read Hebrew . Raymond Yeh has also left some very creative scripts. Thanks you both.

Concerning bad scripts, - sometimes containing great ideas, just rewrite and use the good parts. By rewriting other scripts and adding my ideas I have learned from the worst ;-)
Just mentioning a CD from L....e H.y, topic "Feel secure" nearly every suggestion contains "I have no fear of dying, etc". So, by rewriting and reformulating, reframing, I had a lot of fun.
Sometimes it helps to learn by feeling what a bad script does with You.

I am really interested in learning more about writing effective scripts - there are so many bad scripts out there that it would great to try writing some to see if I can do any better!

Another interesting book is The Time Paradox by Zimbardo - it shows how the perception of the flow of fime alters the attitudes concerning memories. Not a script book but a very valuable resource. PTSD is mentioned as curable by using the discoveries in the book.

Hi Eugene,

There is an excellent book by Belleruth Naparstek called "Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and how they heal". This well documented & easy to read book goes into PTSD in detail, even explaining the chemical changes that take place in the body and how this affects behavior. A third of the book is dedicated to "meditations" which are great and if you like, could be easily adaptable to hypnosis. In fact, the begining of each meditation, is exactly the same as for hynposis .... suggesting deep relaxation, progressively through the body.
The author has made an indepth study of PTSD, including case studies of ex-Viet Nam soldiers, people affected by the 9/11 Twin Towers incident, rape & incest survivors etc.
She also gives a very good progressive approach for the therapist, on how to tackle this very complicated condition. I found it a great & fascinating read, and I'm sure it would be an invaluable source of information & inspiration for you.
