Performance Enhancement
My adult son is a softball nut,he pitches slow pitch in 3 different leagues.
What suggestions would you make for perfecting his batting mechanics?
Anyone that has played softball,knows the ball comes in on a high arc;
and proper mechanics are required to hit the ball consistently.
He (mentally knows what to do,but fails to repeat it between one pitch and the next).

Thanks for the reply,from observed behavior,I would deduce that it is the distractions.
Being the pitcher and in most cases the team leader,his focus seems pretty scattered.
But I will see him today and see if we can find time to talk about it. Thanks! -

If he can visualize hitting the ball perfectly, he can mentally rehearse hitting it perfectly thousands of times over, note that it is more effective that the imagery be in an associated first person state as if they were actually performing the task, vs third person state (as if they were watching themselves in a movie or video)
