Backup computer (doesn't have to be work dedicated).

Software
Google docs, calendar, gmail, and voice integrate with any hardware
all free (highly recommended)
Digital intake forms
Preferably integrated into your website
Can be emailed and sent back via email or scanned from hard copy
Depends on tablet
Note taking, handwriting based
Best on iPad- note taker HD (use edit 2 mode in landscape)


Security and backup
Drop box (2 gigs free). Must make folders private
Carbonite ($55 a year unlimited backup)
Flash drive with password protection (optional)
Remote wipe feature if lost or stolen
Get a real password
