the Free Hypnosis Social Network

I hope it's okay to post this here.
Okay you all know me from here on Hypnothoughts, but what you don't know is that I have a huge background in Radio. In fact I have a small studio and run spots from home for other stations and clients.
I did have my own station but gave all that up for the most part because of my interest in Hypnosis and other reasons.

I am one that believes that Hypnosis is an awesome tool, and want to get the word out about it's truth. I know of a service that is kind of like an audio Blog. It's called Blog Talk Radio, and I am thinking about starting a talk radio program about Hypnosis. Right now I have signed up for the Free service to kind of check it out, but what I thought would be really cool is to have a radio program totally devoted to Hypnosis.
I wanted to post here because I know there are people who share the same love for Hypnosis as I do, and may even be interested. I want to be able to line up interviews with people who can come on and we can open up phone lines for others to call in and ask questions. Subjects will range from Clinical, to Stage Hypnosis as well as speed trance. The idea is to educate people on what Hypnosis really is all about and the good it has to offer.
Is there anyone else out there that thinks this is a cool idea?
More later.

This is a cool idea.... Education of true hypnosis facts to dispel the aura of mysticism that goes with hypnosis can only help us gain more positive public exposure.
Oh sweet! I was talking to Michael Grady (he's on hypnothoughts) about doing a radio show at some point. He had the chance to host a radio show a few months back, and I kind of jumped on as a co-host. We did a live induction (or 2 or three :D ) on air. It was quite fun. Now that I look back at it, maybe it wasn't thought out as well, since people might have been driving...
This would be a weekly or bi-weekly program. I welcome more ideas and comments, thanks to both Richard and Antonio for your comments.
Yes there could also be shows with co-hosts as well.
Very cool idea. Although I'm not qualified to give an interview, I would defintely listen and make phone calls in. I am assuming that this would be broadcast online? I look forward to seeing where this goes.

Yes this will air "On Line". I have set up the account and uploaded some cool "Bumper" music. It's also linked to my twitter and facebook accounts so this will also blast show info to my followers and friends. I will also link it to my blog.
Sounds like a very cool idea! Let me know how I can help.

Several Hypnotists here have worked in radio and continue to work in some capacity or another. Celeste Hackett was a local radio personality here in Dallas. Darren Altman is one of the better voice-over guys I have heard. of course he is in the UK. Leigh Spusta has a radio interview on his page where he was discussing his trance music. That;s just a few. I know Scott did some radio shows "back in the day". I have been talking myself with a local life coach about doing a series of radio interviews with her on her show. You would have plenty of talent and could probably just use the audio track off of an ooVoo session. My thoughts anyway.

Yes I agree, it is a cool idea. I've been interviewed on numerous TV stations and radio stations over the years. I even had the opportunity of being on the largest radio station in the state of New Jersey, and doing the equivalent of an on air stage show; please remember that most hypnosis stage-shows are visual, I had to reorient the routines to make them listenable. At the time, I hypnotized the female co-host of the morning show and the afternoon guy while the male morning co-host, ran the equipment and was pretty much blown away by me Speed-Trancing these people, and then having them sing and read the NJ weather and traffic in Klingon. What a morning!
This will be fun! Great idea, Donald.

Maybe in an upcoming show you would do an Interview?

Thanks everyone for the support.

I spent a good part of the day filming and editing a wonderful diner put on by the Good Neighbor Alliance here local where a nice hot lunch was given to about 40 homeless people with my good friend, and will be working on getting it uploaded tomorrow after the show.

I really hope this audio Blog pulls well, and with support from my friends here and abroad I think it will.
Hypnosis has really been given a "bum rap" and I want to work to help dispel that. The only way we can do that is by being vocal about it.

See you all tomorrow!!!
