How about stomping in water puddles after a rainstorm? As adults we forget what it was like to play... let our minds wander.

While we're on the subject of ball pools, I just have to mention a fondness for bouncy castles . . . and silly string . . . and those tricky wooden puzzles that never go back together . . . and hedge mazes . . . and riding in the front car of the subway . . . and roofs of tall buildings . . . not to mention anything baked and sweet that comes straight out of the oven.

Sorry, that should have read ball pool, I realise ballpark means something quite different in the US.

Where I used to live they actually used to have "adult days" at the local ballpark, but it closed down before I could use it. *sadface* I'm not sure if they do something similar in the US, but I'd be there like a shot!

We the eternal children do hereby decree that you must smile at one random person tomorrow!

I re-read this last night and today went around smiling at everybody. Not just a wimpy smile but a huge ear-to-ear grin. I did it at the bank, at the court house, the grocery, everywhere. I made eye contact and flashed a big smile to everyone who would meet my eyes. Interestingly, most people were confused at first. But, most of them caught the spirit and smiled themselves. It's contagious. Let's all go out and infect the world. Let's start an epidemic.

Did you ever see that movie about "The Great Escape?"

Do you REMEMBER about Steve McQueen going to the brig as a punishment?

And how he took his baseball and glove, just to deal with the BOREDOM?

That is one of my favorite movies!
