Last night in North Bethesda, MD, just outside DC, four of us led a wonderful WHD program: Laura West, Rudy Sanchez, Sean Michael Andrews ("The World's Fastest Hypnotist"), and I.  About 30 people attended -- other hypnotists,  students, and individuals interested in hypnosis.

Laura led off with an introduction and a demonstration of the "Twist Exercise", a brief excursion into visualization and self-hypnosis.  I followed, talking about Quantum Focusing and (of course) including a couple group demonstrations.  Rudy did a wonderful demonstration with his Singing Bowls, entrancing everyone present, and Sean finished up with a discussion of hypnosis, stage hypnosis, and two fascinating demonstrations of rapid inductions.  There were lots of questions and engaged back-and-forth.

Just winding down from my World hypnotism Day event.  I shared an open house with the Chiropractor that I share an office with.  We had about 20 people come and I had good conversation with all that came.  I got one immediate appointment and have several people who are interested but not completely ready.  I have a possible speaking engagement.  All in all I believe it was a good success.

Does anyone have examples of letters to Governor for requesting a proclamation.

A few year ago I did an event and got a proclamation and had templates for all the things necessary for putting on an event but can't find them any more.  Templates would be helpful and cut a lot of time out of the process.

My apologies Tom - I just saw 3 events for  2011 in comparison with the 50 plus for 2010. You've done a fantastic job with the WHD and I applaud you.

 

I will be a part of the Open House in Winnipeg Manitoba presented by the Manitoba Hypnotherapist's Association. We have had annoucements in the local papers and TV - looking forward to sending the public to WHD web site
