Where does the HypnoSummit Take Place?
The HypnoSummit is on the internet, and takes place on your web browser. If you are reading this, you are ready to attend the HypnoSummit. You just go to www.HypnoSummit.com and you are at the conference.

How Does it Work?
Everything is designed to look like an actual conference. It's surprising how much people get caught up in it and begin to feel like they are really there. All you have to do is click on a menu option and you go straight to the lecture hall, or the vendor room, or the lounge, help desk, etc.

I Don't Get it
That's not a question, but I'll respond anyway. You sit down in front of your computer and go to www.HypnoSummit.com. Presenters will either record a one hour lecture as a video or get in front of their webcam. You click on the button for the classroom, and you will go into the lecture that is playing at that time. You will be watching the video of that presenter giving their lecture. There will be a place for you to type in questions so that the presenter and all the other attendees will see it, and your question will be answered. If you like what that presenter has, you can go to their booth in the vendor room and take a look at their products or chat with them live (if they are there at the time).

I Have an Old Computer, Will it Work For Me?
Our software has been designed to work on 98% of computers on the internet. If you are reading this, your computer is almost definitely able to attend the HypnoSummit without downloading or installing anything. It's a website (a very big website, but a website none the less).

I'm New to This Internet Learning Stuff, is This Worth Trying?
Simply put: yes. If you've seen our speaker list (which you can read by clicking here), you will see that this is a chance to see special lectures from people you have never heard present before. Again, 97% of the people who attended the last event said they wanted to return. That's a pretty strong endorsement.

What if I Miss a Lecture or Will be out of Town That Weekend?
We've got you covered. Every lecture will be stored in the library for three full weeks of free review to all gold members. Silver members will be able to watch the videos 24/7 for the entire weekend. If you missed a presentation or want to hear it again, just go look it up in the library. You will have 24 hour access to all the talks with no limits of how often you can watch them.

So I Go And Watch a Bunch of Lectures?
That's a start. In fact, if that's all you did, it would be great. But there's a lot more than that. We have a lounge where people can chat with each other (like at a "real world" conference) or you could browse the vendor room and mingle with the exhibitors and check out the stuff they are selling at their booth. If you've done it at a traditional conference, we've done our best to let you do it at the HypnoSummit.

What's a booth for?
Just like at a "real world" conference, some presenters will have products you can purchase. Some will have free stuff. Some will even have free stuff to give away. At a booth, you can chat with the vendor in either video chat, audio chat, or text chat. You can buy their products, sign up for a newsletter, exchange information, and network.

Can I Get Credits for my Continuing Ed?
Most likely, yes. Just about every organization requires a certain number of hours of continued education every year. Every organization we have contacted (and even some we haven't) have pledged support and will honor these hours toward your yearly CEUs (continuing education units).

If it's as Good as You Say, Why is it so Cheap?
Because Melissa and Scott have thriving practices and many of you don't. We had wonderful mentors guide us when we were first getting started. This is our way of returning the favor. We know how important it is for you to get the tools you need to be successful in this industry, and often times people don’t know where to start. We want to see hypnosis continue to grow. You really need to see what is out there, so we are bringing it to you.

So Should I Go to the HypnoSummit Instead of a Normal Conference?
That's a tough question. As much as we want it to be the same, both have pros and cons. We've already made a few charts for you to compare a "Real World" conference to the HypnoSummit (click here to check out our cost benefit analysis) but it's really up to you. We found that 84% of our last attendees said it made them more likely to attend live training in the future. Think of this as a chance to see a lot of new speakers for a low price, that way you can decide who you want to pay more to go take more training with later. It's like online dating for hypnosis education.

This is Awesome! Why isn't Anyone Else Doing This?
Because it's insanely hard to do. Honestly, I'm crazy for letting Melissa talk me into this thing. You wouldn't believe how many moving parts something like this has. In 2 years it will be much easier and more people will be putting their online conferences together, trust me. For now, we are the only ones dumb enough to blaze the trail.
