- About Me:
- Thanks for stopping by and looking at my profile. I'm a hypnotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner (whatever that is supposed to be...) working in Manchester (UK). Also, I am training to be a psychotherapist. I really enjoy working with people and I'm very lucky to have found this role in life.
You see - to me, the most important thing is freedom. The freedom to be yourself; the freedom to live without restriction. In my ideal world, we would exist unchained from poverty, oppression, and mass-manipulation. Perhaps we're too easily distracted by (non)celebrity gossip, or buying sh!t that we don't need, to realise our true worth.
(Hint: it is infinite!)
And... I love my job! It doesn't really feel like a job, more of a vocation. To an extent, it defines who I am. When it comes to the phenomenon that is hypnosis, I love reading about it, learning about it, doing it. It is fair to say I am at least part geek... ;-)

The folly of judgment...
There has been some disquiet on the message boards lately, here at Hypnothoughts.com, discourteous communication dismaying some posters...
A fellow poster, in response to all of this palaver, posted this quote:
“When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.” ~Dr. Wayne Dyer
It's a nice quote, and I see the intention behind it. However, to me the quote seems ill-formed. It does not describe the whole picture.

I tried self hypnosis and was not successful.

- Yes, Adrian...all MINE! lol I live in the corner of WA State, with the Cascade Mts on one side and the San Juan Islands on the other. Vancouver, BC and Seattle are to the north and south, respectively, if I crave the citylife. But, I prefer the scenes you mention. Thanks for noticing...

- Okay, this may sound kooky, but I told myself, "Be the ball!" And then I rolled down the alley and knocked 'em all down! Once I had the first strike, I memorized the process and repeated it. Unfortunately, my focus only held for two more, but it was pretty cool! I hadn't thought of bowlers as a market for hypnosis but obviously there's huge potential.

Unless the issues are related, or can somehow be linked without causing confusion, I think working on more than two issues at a time is risking that you might not address any of them adequately. At the least, use different sessions/days…
I have noticed that most all of the truly gifted and insightful leaders in the field of hypnosis downplay their credentials. Their works, reputation and impact on others following behind them is what makes them who they are, not the paper on the wal…
It;s a variation of the ebay money order Scam. They send you a bunch of money orders (counterfiet) and over pay to get you to put the MO in your account then write a valid MO from your account to the "agent" who takes your stuff and your valid MO. B…
I had one several years back that seemed very legitimate...a quantity order from Indonesia. While I will not go into details, the bottom line is that I was cheated out of over $1000 of products for which I never received one dime.
