I would like to know how many hypnotherapists out there have used a biofeedback device to enhance the hypnotic induction. I actually came to the conclusion that the reason why biofeedback has proven to be so effective is because in actuality biofeedback is a form of hypnotic induction according to the definition of hypnotic induction I present in my theory of hypnosis. I would like to know how many hypnotherapists out there have have attempted to use hypnosis in the healing of cancer, and how many have had success in doing so. When I wrote my first paper on this subject (Hypnosis as a Possible Means of Curing Cancer) over 50 years ago (June of 1961 to be exact) while I was working towards my Ph.D. in psychology at UCLA, I was pretty much ridiculed and labled as a quack.
