"Whatever you can get a person to imagine is perceived as their own idea." What I do is, I talk about another person's experience. It could be mine, something I saw on TV, something you read. If I want someone to feel totally comfortable, with me, I just talk about a time where someone was comfortable, use descriptive language and with a bit NLP I associate that with feeling with me!
