The best recording program I ever found is the only one I use. SHARM made just for hypnosis recording .  I wanted to share something with all of you if you don't mind... I sent this out to some others in hypnosis field but wanted to send it to you with the discound code coupon . I wanted to get the word out about a GREAT recording program to make hypnosis recordings or office music. It’s called SHARM. Here is the site to learn more about it http://www.thesharm.com/ (If you haven’t heard about it yet it’s because they do very little advertising.) This program is made for hypnotherapist to make recordings and IS EASY TO USE! It has ambient music, Nature sounds. Record live sessions with your clients, enhanced with music in the background and it is ALL royalty-free music. I am helping them get the word out and in return I can get you a coupon code for you to buy it at 35% off! Look it over and if you want to buy it here is the simple coupon code to to get 35% off REFTD3515 Thanks, Tony

Hi Barbara. Something I learned about this site it that you will have to refer back to the message you sent for anything to make sense as it does not forward like a regular email would.

I do use Audicity to record my voice, but I found a program called MindWorkstation to add in music, brainwave, etc. It is quite expensive for a computer program, but so far I really like it. With Audicity, you will need some mixer programs to add music to your CD's. I have been leaning more toward recording on the computer than purchasing actual recording equipment. I have heard from others they use a digital recorder, similar to the small tape recorders we used to have for dictation, then transfer the digital recording to the computer. I print my CD's using an ink jet printer and a standard microsoft program ... it takes a while and some playing to get it down ... but it does put out a presentable product. I have not looked at selling CD's on the internet.

Oh I know the feeling of feeling overwhelmed. I have only "officially" been in practice a few months, so if you have questions fire away. I would say 99% of my business is coming from my website. If I had it to do over again, I would have just gone to a web designer instead of doing it myself. One suggestion would be to sell a product, not the practice of hypnosis. What I mean is pick your gimmick ... weight release, quit smoking, whatever else you could think of, and market from that angle. People are looking for something specific when they look, and will not focus merely on hypnosis or hypnotherapy.
