Suggestibility 'Exercise'

Thumbnail
Now most often you will hear about suggestibility tests but I would prefer to avoid that name, especially when talking about it to a subject. 'Test' indicates that they can fail when in reality they cant. And when you fraze something as a test your giving their mind the option to do it or not. And when you get used to the name it becomes something like that to you on a subconcious level whether you wan ti to or not. So I stick with calling it an excercise. And in fact when I tel the subject…See More

Benjamin Jay Wight replied to Benjamin Jay Wight's discussion 'Pre-talk' in the group ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS
Absolutely. In reality the pre-talk when done properly should serve to put the subject/group into an already suggestive state and even a slight trance. It may help if you stop thining of each step as an individual things (ie, the pretalk, the…

Hi Benjamin I would say your pre talk is the first step in your induction. Do they like me? Do they trust me? Do they think I can put them under? Do they want to try to go under? This is all a part of your pre talk and if you do it right it will…

I think handshakes are less common than they used to be but its all about getting timing right and making it feel natural for the other person. Make sure you stop them fully when you ask for directions so they cant keep walking. And When you extend…

Benjamin Jay Wight replied to Kelley Woods's discussion 'Signs of Trance' in the group ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS
For those beginners of you who dont know what IMR is, it means Ideo-Motor Response. An ideomotor response is an automatic muscular response which the concious mind has no control over - the movement is involuntary or reflexive. This means it makes a…

Benjamin Jay Wight replied to TheMezmerizer's discussion 'Why Do Post-Hypnotic Suggestions Fail?' in the group Instant and Rapid Inductions Mastery Group
I honestly think the main reason why the suggestion didnt work well was you only gave them one censory input as the trigger. I always make my trigger something that combines sight and sound and sometimes touch. This way it has a strong inpact. Thats…
