Question re: abreaction

I have a person who would like to see me for weight loss. He claims that about ten years ago he went to a group weight loss session and was told that he had "hauled off and hit the person next to him" while he was in trance. He does not recall it happening. Needless to say, I'm not real excited about working with him in spite of the fact that I've never had a client even come close to abreacting.
