I don't think the public really care one way or another so long as they get what they are looking for. I tell you to relax and your muscles relax. Then by your definition thats hypnosis.

A referal done right can lead to more refferals from a doctor. It can be a source of clients. If someone is on medication or is getting treated for depression etc then you should really get a "refferal" especially if they want to come off…

you were probably right sounds like she needed excuses to get out of stopping smoking. You should always go with your gut and you should never persuade or convince anyone. It is always a waste of time.
