Bike Riding a Hundred Miles?

Hi Hypnotists - Last year a buddy of mine and I entered and completed the 100+ mile bike ride from Tustin, California down to San Deigo, California. Well, we have just committed to doing it again. We have just made that commitment and I'm wondering if there are any hypnotists out there that want to take on the challenge.

I wanted to ask you a question regarding your use of the Elman Induction. You mentioned that rather than using the counting backwards from 100, you began using the reverse...counting from 1 upwards. You gave some very convincing reasons for doing so. Soooo, I'm wondering if you still think that is the best way...taking into consideration what you said and your experience since that time? Because I think I intuitively feel the same thing that you mentioned....the client seems intent on going from 100 to 0, as if it was a challenge and fails to obtain the desired relaxed state. I would appreciate any comment you might share regarding this.

By the way, we are only 2 cities away from each other. I'm in Brea, OC. I would love to meet you locally sometime when it is convenient. I'm an Orange County guy all the way. I was a Police Officer here for several years....then, an Executive Director at 20th Century Fox Filmed Entertainment...before entering the clinical (and sometimes stage) side of Hypnosis. I still direct and act in community theater throughout OC. And, I'll be performing a few shows here these next few months.
