I'm was "ordained" as a minister by a group called International Assembly of Spiritual Healers & Earth Stewards Congregations (SHES). I think the cost was $50. I've really enjoyed conducting marriage ceremonies. Although there isn't any education provided by the group, I have been a student or world religions for decades and I've been an activist for the environment since 1970. My understanding is that as a minister I can "touch" without fear of being sued. I always ask permission to lift a person's wrist or tap gently between the eyes. Sometimes my clients want a hug after a really good hypnosis session. I've been told that the minister affiliation is worthless. I don't know.
