Michael - Good to hear of your success. As you say, eliminate the reasons and help the client to achieve the changes in lifestyle and the results will follow. I'm sure Cindy will emulate your success too! Thanks Chris for your support!

Regress tp cause question

I did a regression today and the feeling that the client said, guilt, was what used for affect bridge. She is a weight loss client. When we got to the ISE, yes, I checked and double checked, the feeling that she had at the event at 4yo was not guilt, but "felt bad" and "embarrassed". It's the event that her SCM took me to, so I am assuming that's where we needed to go. But thinking about it, guilt wasn't the correct emotion, as a 4 yo first time feeling wouldn't be guilt. That would be a subsequ… Continue

Stubborn client, give up or dig in heels?

I have a difficult, but interesting client. She has resisted and stopped most of the work (weight loss) we have done. We weren't able to do a good parts, as the part was uncooperative. She isn't taking suggestion very well. Outwardly she wants to get better and overcome, but inwardly I'm not getting cooperation. We have a regress to cause session this week and here's my question. I'm ready to give up if regression doesn't work, but know from experience (of other life things) that once a person i… Continue

Translation will stop trance? Need help

I have a client who didn't take direct suggestion very well last time. Apparently, English is her second language and she said she had to translate to Spanish in her mind what I was saying. She speaks English very well. She seems to go in/out of trance, she says. To me, she displays all the signs of being in trance, but I didn't test it too much. I'm not sure what my next step is. She really wants this to work--she's in for weight loss-and I want to figure out what to do next to get her that hel… Continue

No Clients? Look within

For the last year+, dabbling in hypnosis, I had been complaining that I didn’t have clients to work with to get the experience I needed to further my hypno skills. Recently, on a road trip, I learned that INTENT was #1 in importance in life. If I want something and I put that intent out there, the ONLY thing that can get in my way is ME—the thoughts in my head. There isn’t anything else that will stop the manifesting of that intent. When it comes toContinue

How many sessions for root cause?

If you get a client who has an issue that you suspect has an root cause, how many sessions do you tell that person it would probably take to overcome the issue? I guess a better question is, "do most of you experienced hypnotherapists find and resolve the ISE's in one session? Two? Six? Or do you not give the client an idea of probably an x amount of session, based on past experience?

Hi CindyLou.

I'm interested in being a guinea pig for you on Skypenosis. I do have a Skype account, but I don't yet have a webcam. Hopefully, that is not essential. Let me know and we can go from there.

Although I've been a hypnotherapist for about 20 years, I'm not currently actively seeing clients. I would love to experience a session as I'm hoping to include similar services in my new website (under construction) to help people with chronic illnesses.

Thanks, Elizabeth
