- Now that I have found a place on the internet where I can activley speak to people in the hypnosis community, I would like to try further my knowlegde and understanding in the field, and enhance ability.
- About Me:
- Im possibly the most easy going guy in the world. I've always been facinated with hypnosis since I was little when I use to watch paul mckenna. I've never known where to go to learn or find out about hypnosis so it never really progressed from there.
Naturally Derren Brown rekindled my intrest with his tricks which use sometimes a mixture of hypnosis and NLP. After having very many usless news letters and such on hypnosis coming to my inbox every day which was useless to me since I needed to start from the begining, my Ex girl friend bought me Deren browns trick of the min book. Although very brief really, it does explain everything for the unknown in hypnosis, what it is, it dispelles the myths, and gave me a good starting point.
Im only intrested in the Hypnosis and maybe bits of NLP purley for entertainment reason. Magic, misdirection and all that isn't what im intrested in. I've now read many of E-books, books and sourced videos and now have much of the understand and theory in my head. Im not saying im a professional, no way thats why im here for guidence. But I definatly think that since its held my attention this long and I know more than most, I should turn to the practical side of things and try out what I know.
Its hard to find people to let you hypnotise, simply because there lack of knowledge hold them back and most think they will not beable to control there selfs or thats maybe I wont beable to bring them out, but i'm stadily working on it.
Either way I've had some success and wanting to try more. Its puley a hobbie at the momment, a party trick to do, a activity which simply amazes me on how people can act simply due to the situation and language used. But I feel with a litle practice and the already knowledge i've gained, I could help people with poblems in a hypnotherapy setting.
