About Me:
Dave Berman is a Certified Hypnotist, Life Coach & Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming who trained with Kevin Cole of Empowerment Quest International in 2010 and 2011. Dave also holds a B.S. in Communication from Cornell University (1993) and received certification as a community mediator from Humboldt Mediation Services (2009), one of many non-profit organizations with whom he volunteers. Dave’s diverse experience includes being a radio DJ, advocacy journalist, customer service maven and successful entrepreneur who has co-founded, built and sold an international manufacturing company. His private practice, Manifest Positivity, is based in Arcata, CA where he sees clients in person and via Skype.
Hobbies:
Dave is devoted to jogging, yoga, meditation, Law of Attraction, and a vegan diet. His passions include hiking, backpacking, drumming, playing Scrabble, and dancing at concerts with a “Free Hugs” sign. Some non-NLP and Hypnosis books that have greatly influenced Dave include: “Pronoia” by Rob Brezsny; “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle; “am I being kind” by Michael J. Outgrowing Presuppositions?
