- About Me:
- I became interested in non-therapeutic hypnosis in 1987 after a hypnotherapist helped me remove an unconscious block that inhibited my desire to attend graduate school. One session of hypnosis completely removed the block and empowered me to attend and complete graduate school with a 4.0 GPA.
Between 1993 and 2003 I used self-hypnosis to maintain my competitive edge as a Time Warner / AOL television account executive. My persistent use of self-hypnosis improved my memory, kept me motivated, focused, and goal oriented while allowing me to maintain a positive outlook during the frequent moments of rejection I encountered as a sales person.
I have maintained a part-time practice as a hypnotist since 2002 and currently teach (20 + hrs wkly) at Alamance Community College in the human resource development and continuing education departments. New first time classes starting the next two terms are: (1) Hypnosis for Weight Control (2) The Art of Self-Hypnosis
My highest degree is a M.A. in Transpersonal Studies Atlantic University in Virginia Beach plus post-graduate studies in clinical hypnosis and general psychology from NorthCentral University in Prescott, AZ.

Thanks for the message! It must have been someone else that sent you the email. I am not an HRT Practitioner.
I have many client stories but like you, most of my energy is around teaching these days. I see clients in my practice between graduating classes though. I'll finish up a full time class that I am teaching tomorrow and then I'll go back into my practice again for a few weeks until the next group of students starts in January.
