Hi Don welcome to the Calgary hypnosis bunch. Have you heard about the Hypnosis Societ of Alberta. It’s been around for 42 years. I just joined last May. Please extend my thanks to your instructor for giving me credit for that technique. I've seen so much of my work lately coming back as having been developed by the person teaching it rather than simply saying I got this technique from Melissa Roth or from Scott Sandland or from Marla Brucker or whomever. It shows your school had really good ethics. So, please thank them for me.

It is called THE WORD GAME and it is designed for intense, acute pain such as migraines or accident victims, etc. It doesn't work as well for less intense pain. For less intense or chronic pain there are better things. I'm glad you liked it.

Whose school did you attend? Which pain control technique did you learn? I'm always curious which ones people gravitate to. They all have different techniques that they like out of the ones I teach.

Don .. you will figure out the ropes easily. My special teacher.. who happened to be the Gym teacher.. said.. one hand over the other as you climb up that rope ladder.....She was a very special woman in my life.. she took me to her home.. with her kids... and I got my full scholarship at IU for gymnastics .. with her huge help. You reminded me of her .. when you said learning the ropes...
