I am presenting at the NGH convention about Memory problems on August 13, 2010, so I am very interested in the studies done by Dr. Duff and Dr. Nightingale. Do you know how I can get copies of the actual studies? I have read the article about Alzheimer's and hypnosis in ScienceDaily.

Thank you ever so much Gil for having welcomed me among your own hypno family! It was such a warm and gratuitous gesture! We shared so many views when in fact it all came from your work and experience! Younger hypnotists like myself have been influenced by you sometimes without knowing what came from your work. But one thing is for sure kind sir, what knowledge you have shared in my presence and/or directly with me has been some of the most enlightening gift anyone could receive.Your time to rest now. I wish I had known you better. xo

I was in Glendale a few weeks ago and trying to get out of traffic I turned down a street I had never travelled. On the corner was a worn sign which reads "Hypnotism Institute". Curiosity replaced driving frustration as I thought let's go meet the neighbors. Up the stairs I climbed and read a plaque Hypnotism Institute founded by Gil Boyne. I nearly took off my shoes for being on hallowed ground! Inside, John was extremely pleasant and we chatted for a bit as he handed me handouts and rang up my book purchases. Great selection, by the way. And the list grows on! So a day of horrible traffic turned into a real treat. I hope your day is a treat as well.

Thank you for the kind words regarding my posting in your discussion group. That's quite a discussion you started. As you know, I believe in competent hypnotherapy with a passion; and I am seriously concerned about how the number of quickie training programs have hurt our professional credibility over the years.
