Rather than age regression to uncover the root problem of the client, I recommend working symptomatically. It's extremely effective without the negative consequences. Amnesia may be a form of protection and there for a very good reason. You can achieve excellent results while keeping those defense mechanisms in place. As the therapy progresses, the mechanisms may naturally subside.
For relationships I recommend watching this free video; www.understandingmyrelationship.com
It's loaded with great information and absolutely revolves around hypnotherapy. The E&P concept has been around for decades and I use it with each and every session. Understanding my client helps me to help them even more.

- Hi Greg,
I read your post in Case Conference and support your decision to avoid age regression. It may be a dangerous process with negative effects and should not be used for therapy. I recommend working symptomatically. Many great therapeutic benefits are availablle without the rehashing of the tramatic event. There are also many great NLP techniques that would be ideal for this situation.
