What are you looking for on this site?
Connection to a wider community of hypnotherapists and hypnotists in Colorado and elsewhere. I'm interested in hypnosis for therapy, for performance and for what I would guess might be termed experiential uses.
About Me:
I've drifted quite a bit over the last decade or so, but have always come back to Colorado eventually. Recently I've put down some roots to encourage me to stay for a while and explore the world in different ways.

I'm currently studying hypnosis at the Denver School for Hypnotherapy and enjoying each new aspect of both the clinical and creative side of hypnotherapy.
Hobbies:
Good question. I've never been very good at hobbies, either remaining as the most lightly dabbling dilettante or moving into a realm where the hobby becomes at least a small part of my income. You can find me working with renaissance festivals as a salesman, fire performances as a fire safety and general rousty when I'm not busily working at my 'real' job.

Hypnosis, along with any other form of alternative therapy, has a tendency to come off like snake oil. We can fix anything, doesn't matter what it is, whether it has a mental or biological cause, whether it is a minor annoyance, a major life problem or potentially a life threatening disease. This is where I start to have problems. As an adjunct therapy, I see hypnosis as a major tool for people with say, cancer. By itself, whereas hypnosis might be able to work a miracle, it's taking a major…

I knew going in that learning any kind of therapeutic skills would likely push me into the morass of my own unresolved issues. This had indeed been the case and I'm not unhappy about it. It does leave me feeling a little tired and wondering if I shouldn't be looking to work through them faster rather than slower. I've been a stressball all month just trying to balance out the things I need to do externally and the things I need to do internally, along with all the stray wants that come along to… Continue
