Dittos to what Craig said...Dan Kennedy is my main influence in creating direct marketing campaigns. He's the king. I'm also a huge fan of direct marketing (also called direct mail) because when it's done right, it's directed to…

I haven't seen your postcard, but it would be a safe bet that what you made was basically a bigger business card. See my post "Your Business Card Is Boring" to understand why this tactic rarely gets you any business. If you were to…

Hi, Glad you had success. What information did you print on the cards? I have done this before and the response has been very little. I am sure I did not print attractive enough info. Any advice? Thanks, Mansour from Thornhill, Canada

I do so love it, when results match the key points I try to drive home about Direct Marketing. Everyone wants to send email because it's free, but look at what happens with a simple printed card. 5 months later people don't walk in…

I am no longer a resident of the state of Indiana, haven't been for over 20 years, but there is something you need to be aware of. Due to screwy laws in that state, you can't be certified there. Did you know you cannot practice hypnosis…

Profile Information

Where do you live?
Western Oregon
Hypnosis Experience:
As a Client, As a Hobby, Currently Studying, Part Time Practice
What are you looking for on this site?
Lively discussions, new technique exchange, meeting and networking wih similarly-minded people, sharing information, and mutual assistance
About Me:
18+ years exp. previously as recreational hypnotist; certified through a private hypnosis school about 5 years ago - setting up full-time practice in earliest foreseeable future.
Hobbies:
Hypnosis, NLP, fishing, gold panning, travel, bicycling
Just so it's clear.. the "Currently Studying" was ticked off (checked off) because I believe we always need to continue to keep abreast of current information about this profession and add to our "toolchest" of available resources to do the best we possibly can for our clientelle. This is not to imply that I am currently enrolled in any particular class or curriculum.

Am a strong believer in client-centered techniques. Have studied Elman, progressive relaxation, NLP, some EFT, among others. Not a huge fan of the Progressive, but it does have its place. Learning confusion techniques, which I find very interesting due to its strong integration with NLP patterns (hypnotic language), metaphors, ambiguities and the like.

Good to meet you, and hope to have a chance to exchange and discuss the various tools and implementations of different techniques. To paraphrase.. "This old dog CAN and DOES learn (and teach) new tricks."

JG I am sorry for not responding to your post on the regression group, I've been swamped.... I'm glad you have interest, "although skeptical", and I myself do not focus on past life regression, but regression to cause to heal the misperceptions of this life that plague us. If you would like to pursue more about regression I'd love to have your participation and thoughts.
thanks!

Hi JG - Yes...actually have even experienced a "hypno massage" myself. :-) Also, some basic guided imagery with regular massage can be intersting. Yes, it is an interesting combo...especially when you throw in that I have a computer geek day job... lol It sounds like you've been doing hypnotherapy for quite some time. I'd be most interested in hearing your most memorable experience with hypnosis.
