I have signed up for and am very excited to be attending Marc's stage training in January. I was just wondering if anyone else is going to be there? I am always excited to meet any other hypnotists and especially HT members.

I did a recording for a client for migraine relief. After 3 weeks of listening to the recording I asked for a progress report. As a note I should add that the induction I use is a modified Elman induction. So the client reports that they aren’t hypnotized because they can open their eyes even though I tell them they can’t (I don’t say “can’t”).…

I had an intersting reaction from a client that I thought I would share. During my induction I told the client that when she goes into trance, she may notice her arms feeling heavier or lighter either one is fine. A pretty standard line that I am sure many people use. After emerging her during the post hypnotic interview she revealed that during the entire session she felt as if one arm was made of stone and the other felt as if it was going to float up off her lap at any time.
