Thank you for those nice words Janice.  I am so pleased in such a short time we had together that you were able to sort it out for yourself so quickly.  Just shows how powerful your subconscious really is. Great to hear you joined the…

Thank you thank you Elaine Okba and Linda Roan.  As I only work part time and not very often, I get a little out of touch.  Both are excellent suggestions and I now have somewhere to go with it.  All depends on whether the client…

I wonder if anyone would have a good script for someone who has had cancer and is now in remission, it's leukemia.  I would appreciate any ideas.

Yes, everyone is quite different, and this is where it helps to be really intuitive as to what works best with each client. Apparently my client went to a well known hypnotherapist in Auckland when she first became ill (he is the President of the…

Thank You Janice, I am not against anything, as long it can help the client, and I will start with basics and take it step by step, some type of therapy I will avoid personally and will approach it as a last resort, and I do agree that that some…

I can't imagine talking to my client's doctor, I know her personally and apart from me thinking she is a bit useless, I'm sure she would scoff at hypnotherapy - she knows me as a bit of an eccentric and the local foodie. (I used to…

I think the best thing to do for cliets is not to completely take things away, but to offer new options in their life that they used to think were impossible or unattainable. We have to create new and bigger better problems, like enjoying things for…

Janice conducted an age regression but it didn't go well, so she got into this conundrum. Eureka! If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Of course after three times, trying becomes failing. So get it right ASAP or refer the client…

Have you tried change beliefs patterns, or adding a belief pattern ? If not I would give that a shot. I would also recomend using some other NLP technigues along with this one, I think they would be some of the better techniques to use in a…

Great to hear you joined the ranks of hypnotherapy/EFT.  I did a couple of courses with Steve Wells myself - I think in was in 2001.  Did you do his 'provocative therapy' course as well?  It seems crazy that you are dealing with a traumatic feeling and I have the client laughing at the outrageous things I say :)  Do you use the EFT in hypnosis?

I have just come back from Melbourne where I presented on hypnotherapy and how the mind can change how the gut works - at Monash University Hospital.  I had a Doctor on stage so he could experience for himself how he could do both an arm as well as a mind levitation - as well as starting him to work on his own issue that we had been talking about in the intermission.  I used an old trick in the book where I simply said; "You will find your hand raising towards your nose and when your hand touches your nose, you will know that you are able to do the things that will cause more balance in your life."  He was such an angel and did just that.

I know at the AHA World Conference I was approached by someone (in my outlook express somewhere) from NZ who wanted us to do the whole day IBS presentation which included Prof. Peter Gibson and dietician, Sue Shepherd - but it is difficult to tie Peter down he has so many commitments both at home and overseas.  And Sue had also gone to the US shortly after.  It was lovely to catch up with them both on the weekend.

I will be going back to Melbourne in May next year to do an all-day workshop.  Now that I have stepped down from being National President, I am able to do some training and actually get paid for it :) - which I couldn't really do before as it would have been seen as using my position for procuring participants to my workshop which I felt was not ethical.  All systems go now :)

Thanks for connecting.  Look forward to future chats.
