Decisiveness Not Distress (Increase Your Productivity)

In today’s world, the amount of responsibilities a person has is constantly on the rise. There are increasing demands on a person to fulfill their duties on the job, spend time with family and friends, accomplish personal goals, complete work around the house, and so on. To many, just thinking about all the things that need completed in a day can create a feeling of being overwhelmed. When our mind gets stressed, frustrated, or overwhelmed it tends to shut down and the end result is procrastinat… Continue

Are You A Rebel?

Be a rebel in life and refuse to give into negative thinking. Decide to be a rebel and fight against the tendencies of the world to be negative and pessimistic. Refuse to sell out your mind to negative thinking and make the powerful decision to be an optimist. Do the unexpected and show the world that you are happy. Show the world that it's ok to smile and to do nice things for people. Be a rebel by performing random acts of kindness. Encourage others to success and be quick to compliment. Be a… Continue

Pre-Session Pep Talk for Hypnotists

For most of my adolescence, I was involved in sports. I played basketball, baseball, football, and I was even on a snowboarding team. All of these sports have one thing in common, a pre-game pep talk. Before every big game or snowboarding competition, our coach would gather everyone and give a motivating and inspiring pep talk. The words always filled the air with positive energy that excited everyone to perform their best. I know that as hypnotherapists, we aren’t concerned with winning the big… Continue

The Best Time Is Now

When people want to create a change or improvement in their lives they often ask themselves, “When would the best time to make this change?” I can remember when I wanted to quit smoking in the past this question would constantly roll around in my mind. Instead of taking action, I found myself just putting it off by creating more and more excuses that were only fooling myself. I had the false beliefs that it would be easier to succeed during a less stressful time, or while on a vacation, or after… Continue

Thanks John. I appreciate it. BTW, I noticed that you trained around the same time I did. I was in Laura Amoroso's class in August 2001...there were two of us in the class!
