Is Therapy needed?

On another site it was suggested by a correspondent who is a self confessed therapist, that the world was sick. I am presuming he didn't mean that the planet was suffering from an illness but that what the human race was doing behaviourally could be construed to be an illness.
I am of the belief and opinion that whilst a lot of what humans do is unsocial, detrimental, odd and even deadly; that isn't illness but simple human nature and instinct.

You know every now and then the 1952 Hypnotism act is mentioned on this site and it's often misquoted, misunderstood and misinterpreted but, as it is the Only legislation in the UK concerning the subject of Hypnosis and of this site I think everybody who lives and works in Britain, or who is planning to travel here, should know exactly what it says, so, here it is in full...

Humour = spelt correctly = engenders the production of Dopamine which is an enzyme that acts as a neurotransmitter, think of it as oil for your thinking and learning system.

How important is it when you ask for a medical history that you are 'qualified' to understand the answers?
I am a qualified nurse but don't ask because A; I am Not giving anyone a clinical or 'health' consultation. And B; even I wouldn't understand some of the answers.
I am not aware for instance of a course on say, 'hypnosis for cancer', that gives even a rudimentary understanding of what the conditions do or are.

I have noticed that there is quite a bit of debate amongst hypnotists as to the meanings behind different words in the hypnotist vocabulary.
