If you look up my videos here, I drop them down, while rocking their bodies and taping them with my finger as a form of deepening, which continues to loosen them up and deepen the Trance state. Once they are down, it may sound a little something…

I have a simple suggestion. Deepen them normally after doing a hand drop (with a staircase, counting, etc.) then bring them out fast and use the hand drop induction again on them, then take them out asap and do the hand drop again. This is very…

You can do hypnosis without a formal induction or deepeners. There are some basic steps I follow. 1. Preframing and complience, I like the reply of CD MCHenry about the reframe. I want to create for the person a reality that they want to and will…

Finally finding My Hypnosis Niche

Well, I started just barely being able to put anyone into Trance, now just a few short weeks later, I have performed in front of a small audience (they were friends, but the pressure was still on) and managed to have a great time with some creative suggestions on the fly, and I have to admit, it was a blast. It took some time with groups, I had a lot of people pop out of trance, have trouble going in, and all that. I found myself basically doing just demonstrations of putting people in and out…See More

I agree with C D McHenry that the snooze effect helps but you can always go old school and do the elevator or staircase as a deepening and keep in mind if they do not want to let go they wont so have a real good pre talk to overload the mind :)

Not a speed trance situation, but to head off any possible resistance I tell my new clients that actually there's no such thing as the ability to hypnotize. As human beings, because we have the power of imagination, we all the ability to…

I tell people who seem nervous - both in shows and elsewhere - that hypnosis is a consentual state, if they don't want to be hypnotized, nothing I or anyone else says or does will hypnotize them. True or not, it gives them a sense of control…

There are some people who resist on purpose. They want to prove they can't be hypnotized, or that hypnosis isn't real.... There are a couple of ways to deal with these types during your pretalk. If I'm dealing with one of these…

Perhaps you need to increase your rapport, or or you have a mismatcher, in which case you might say something like, I can't make you...or, you may not want to...right NOW..., at this moment..if you don't WANT to.

Remember to pyramid your effects. Start with the easiest effects to achieve, and then work your way up. Do that every single time. Every suggestion a person accepts makes them more likely to accept the next, which btw is a deepener on its own. You…

Jordan, do you take them down to the ground? What techniques do you usually use? Try a nice slow, 10 to 1 count deepener, suggsting that the deeper they go, the better they feel. Also, if they are not on the ground, try rocking them - that acts as…

Thanks C D McHnery I'll have to give that a try. I tend to drop them down after the instant induction, and follow up with a countdown from 5 to 1, suggesting they are going deeper, more relaxed and more suggestions like that. And I always make…

Try saying something along these lines: "Every word I say, every beat of your heart, every gentle breath you exhale helps you to relax and go deeper. From this point on everything I tell you will become your reality, you know what I say you…

Actually the quickest way to deepen them is bring them out and put them right back in! Each time you bring them out to do a "trick", and then put them back in, they will go deeper, so do simple tricks first, feet stuck to the floor,…

I never expected Hypnosis to be this big of a hit. Need some help though.

Once the news emerged that I had successfully hypnotized someone, everyone started asking. So I decided to take the increased attention and use it to my advantage. I did some research and began memorizing and learning some speed trance inductions since of course they are more entertaining, and more practical in a room of 6-7 people.

My third attempt at hypnotizing someone, EVER, turned out to be a crowd of 5 people, and they were all eager to see my hypnotize people, and…

My First Experience as a Hypnotist

Well I figured I would share a brief introduction and of course my first and hypnosis session here for some opinions and possibly some creative criticism.

Since I find myself constantly enjoying everything there is about Psychology, and the way the mind works, I found myself frequently coming across the use of…
