"Great responses and advice is presented here. I subscribe to blending as suggested by Joe, describing as explained by Hugh, and attending as advocated by Michael. I also concur that ones intake/pretalk is the most vital phase of the initial session."

Combining Techniques

I recently asked Dr. Richard Nongard the question below and he suggested I post it here. Dear Dr. Nongard,Would it be possible to induct a person using indirect or Ericksoniantechniques and then provide change using direct suggestion? Is this aviable concept or could the switch-over from a permissive style to a moredirect method cause any problems?Regards,Joe DaveyComments and advice welcome.Regards to all,Joe DaveySee More
