I have come across a lot of material showing how perfectly healthy individuals became sick just from believing something would harm them or from believing something would have a certain negative reaction in them, in the same way many sick individuals with no hope of recovery had made their way out of the sickness and symptoms just by believing they can and that they are doing something that works, have positive effect on them.
