Kent Fullarton replied to Michael Ellner's discussion 'WTF- Chemical Imbalance-Depression Model is an outmoded way of thinking?!'
I think that we should look at depression as a learned emotion. People form the habit of checking how bad they feel. By checking how bad they reinforce the bad. Teaching people to check how good they feel seems to help my clients. Though I do not…

Kent Fullarton replied to Kelley Woods's discussion 'Memory/Data Processing and Retrieval' in the group Alzheimer's, Dementia and Absent Mindedness
Ever sence Bruce Lipton wrote Biology of Belief he changed our understanding of cells. But he did make a mistake, sort of. There is no doubt that cells have memory and intellegence. But the true subconscious-higher mind, resides in the only place…

Thank you Scott. I would appreciate getting help rounding up clients. I am looking forward to the web site you talked about at the Pain Control class and workshop. Things have picked up a little but have a ways to go.

This has been a great year for learning new things about hypnosis. My high point though was Scott's training on pain control. Thank You and Merry Christmas.

Kent Fullarton replied to Scott Sandland's discussion 'The Illusion of Powerful Hypnosis'
I think powerful hypnosis is actually pretty easy. The tricky part is the client. If they are desperate it is easy. I they don't care, you just lost the war. I simply pay attention to the client. What they respond to in a positive way I pile…

Kent Fullarton replied to Scott Sandland's discussion 'HypnoSummit Class Help! (updated)'
I wasted a lot of time watching the "will...shortly. Later I got a few minutes and it petered out. Loaded the briefcase but did not get access to the briefcase. This setup is just not very intuitive. If your going to allow downloads I would…

Kent Fullarton replied to Lainie L's discussion 'bedwetting'
Roger Moor suggested this: Cut out all dairy, cow, goat or any other including milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, for two weeks. If the problem does not go away go to www.LakesideHypnosis.net. There is a plan of attack for this. Good luck, Kent.

Hello to all. I am hoping there will be more discussion on Ultra Height hypnosis. Perhaps Jerry can spend his spare time writing a book on techniques and practices. I have found this an amazing way of change.

Kent Fullarton commented on CindyLou's blog post 'How many sessions for root cause?'
Hey CindyLou, how are you. I rarely root around in the muck. Usually the first session is learning how to go into trance and installing hope and confidence. Usually about three separate inductions. The first one is an Arm Raising or an Elman. Then a…

What are you looking for on this site?
I want to find other Hypnotherapists who enjoy learning and sharing the good stuff.
Areas of Specialty:
Weight Managment, Smoking Cessation, Stress Control and do it yourself healing.
About Me:
I am a sixty three year old man who thought hypnosis sounded like a good idea for dealing with some of my issues. As I learned about it I became interested in hypnotherapy. I graduated from HMI and British Hypnosis Research. I do the arm raising, Dave Elman, Physical and Conversational inductions similar Stephen Brooks. And several rapid inductions.
Hobbies:
I used to enjoy target shooting but I have not done this for several years. Out of necessity I think it is going to be stage show hypnosis. It is a way to introduce people to hypnosis and make some money at the same time.

Hi Kent,

I got into hypnotherapy in a similar way. I went for NLP and life coach training and came with diploma in hypnotherapy as well :)

Hi Kent! I haven't read a pleasure book in ages!!! It's all about learning, these days. I used to live in Vegas and we'd go out to the desert with a small weapons arsenal and a day's supply of paint cans and beef jerky...that was fun. What did you shoot?
