This is really quite silly. For a bunch of people that claim the powers of the mind as a way to reach your goals - you sure don't look at the other side of it. The Subconscious can just as well prevent goals from happening as well.

I actually started training at 5yrs old (46 now) in a very traditional style of Ju-Jutsu
Sosuishi-Ryu from Shitama Sensei and Sensei Pat Harrington ( Sosuishi-Ryu was one of the original styles taught to the Samurai and later part of the foundation of kodakan judo it is steeped in tradition and a beautiful art ) as I aged I was taught traditional Judo and Karate based on the kodakan and Sosuishi-Ryu teachings again very traditional...
in my 20s I took up Mauy Thai and western boxing ( I was a fittness freak ...trained at least 5 hrs a day and loved every second of it ).......I didn't know it at the time but I used Hypnosis every day ...visualising and rehearsing my fights in my mind as if it was real ...
I think it was very good mental training for this profession ...(ps I was a huge Bruce Lee Fan too ...but no jeet kune do instructors here to teach me )
what style do you practice ??
