What are you looking for on this site?
To network, to study and keep fueling my passion for hypnosis
Areas of Specialty:
I am very interested in specializing in child and adolescence hypnotherapy full time. One day have my own practice and become the OBVIOUS expert in hypnosis.
About Me:
I am 21 years old. May seem young to some, for me to have already chosen hypnotherapy as a life long career choice. But I've been through a lot of experiences and strongly feel this is where I need to be and what I need to do. I am the oldest of four daughters my parents had. So Ive always been looked up upon and loved to lead by example. In August 2010 I awakened to my interest in hypnosis as a therapy tool. My deep passion for wanting to work with hypnosis is thanks to Dr Bruce Goldberg. Seriously my mouth dropped open and a wash of "oh my god I have to do that, I have to help people like that" came over me. I had never felt like this before and knew for sure this was a good thing. This hypnotist specializes in time travel and regression. I don't plan on using his methods with children. However I still very much enjoy and respect his work.

What am I doing to get to be a "hypno heavey weight" (Hugh Cole) Well I'm studying my tosh off. Nearly every waking hour is spent absorbing information and learning from the best. I have not yet acquired my formal education and qualifications in hypnosis. I will be doing and will only allow my self to get my foundation skills with a 5path and 7path course, the best foundation that a hypnotherapist can get. Thank you Cal Banyan for creating the course and sharing your experience. I watch his very informational videos every week without fail.

There is of course so much more to me but you will just have to meet me and find out for yourself.

If you have any words and tips or you yourself or know any hypnotherapists that have and/or still do specialize in working with children and adolescence please let me know I will very much appreciate it. Wishing you the best day you've had in a long time xxx Mel

Just a note that I have not had any substantial training or certification in hypnosis yet. But I am saving very hard for my training.  So bare with me while I share my opinions

I have attended a one day introduction / find out about hypnosis class and several NLP / hypnosis group meetups from meetup.com.

What I have found is that their is a lot of talking about the history and what the definition of hypnosis is, blah blah blah at these free or cheap groups,…

"You don't have to be the authority/presenter, you could be the one who organizes things. Maybe you find a few other people and share the responsibility, which makes it easier on everyone."
