I'd never heard of Aicardi Syndrome before. I know that back in the 60's neurologist Roger Sperry did research on animals by severing their corpus collosums and fonud that they two halves of the brain can work…"

My niece was just diagnosist with "Aicardi Syndrome" Which from my understanding is the Absence of the corpus callosum, either partial or complete (the corpus callosum is the part of the brain which sits between the right and left sides of the brain and allows the right side to communicate with the left.) I believe hers is the complete. She is currently under a 24 hour Video EEG. They believe there are around 800 cases of this in the entire US. Any ideas or thoughts would be very helpful.…See More
