instant induction question

Hello everyone, I have a question concerning instant inductions.  Lets say your on the street or in a mall. Rapport has already been established.  Is it necessary to explain what is going to happen to the volunteer before the instant induction is performed on them or is it best to just do it? If they know up front what is going to happen, how does that affect the outcome?  I have done these as a re-induction or as a deepener. but have not done it from the start.
