I've never really understood this one either.
However most of the examples given here describe "the reverse effect."
As Hypnotists we can often use this to our advantage.

I received your DVD's in the mail on Thursday. It took all of about 5 minutes to have the first one in the DVD Player. I watched them twice and then when my wife came home I had her sitting in my chair and started practicing. I practiced all weekend and finally on Sunday, it really started working for me. I love the three handshake. Now, when I say that I am a hypnotherapist and someone around me wants to see something, I can confidently perform a rapid induction and not have to say.... relax your head, eyes, face, neck, etc......
Thank you Reg, for breaking it down and showing how to set the scene up to have people already willing to be hypnotised.

How did you go about practicing your instant inductions? Did you work with friends and family or some other willing volunteers? I would like to practice some of them but am thinking it would be more effective on some people that I have not hypnotized before. What are you thoughts.
