Zen Stories
A boy wants to study with a zen master. During tea with the master, the boy tells the old man everything he knows about Buddhism. He tells the master what he doesn't know about Buddhism. As he's speaking, the master fills his teacup---and keeps pouring. The tea spills over the cup, onto the table, and onto the floor. The boy stops, then asks the master why he's spilling the tea. "You are like this teacup," the master explains. "So full of your own knowledge you have no room for more."See More
